Why do we strengthen Russia’s hydrocarbon industry by restricting our own?
"The editorial states that “U.S. LNG exports will have no impact on downstream emissions.” Not so. By increasing the volume of natural gas available in Europe and the intensity of competition among suppliers, U.S. LNG exports will lower prices and allow increased substitution of natural gas for coal. This will help to mitigate climate change by significantly reducing emissions of the most important contributor to climate change.
